I added decorative touches that reflected my personal style – a vibrant rug, a stylish umbrella holder, and a small plant to bring a pop of greenery. With the practical aspects taken care of, I turned my attention to personalizing my drop zone. I also implemented an effective organization system, considering factors like frequency of use and convenience. I created designated spaces for shoes, coats, bags, and keys, making it easier to locate and put away these items. I sorted and categorized the items that would be stored in this area. Organizing the drop zone was the next step. I also installed wall-mounted hooks to hang coats and bags, ensuring they were off the floor and easily accessible. I found a stylish shoe bench with built-in compartments for shoe storage, allowing me to neatly arrange and access my footwear. Did I need more shoe storage? Did I need additional hooks for coats? Should there be a surface for placing keys and small items?Īfter careful consideration, I selected the right furniture and storage solutions for my drop zone.
